“Samare” is a short film created by the animation school “La Poudrière”. It is a stop-motion short film that uses the flip book illusion. “Samare” represents literally the transition from illustration, the craft of making books, to animation. It is most of all a play of rhythms, a brief moment in which the camera dances from one side to another in a vals rhythm that reinforces its romantic aspect.

The short film won the second price in the “Court-Circuit OFF” contest organized by Arte Tv.
